Willow Health Food & Wellness Center is proud to be one of only a few places in Bucks & Montgomery counties, where Whole Body Thermography is offered . It is estimated 1 in 8 women will encounter breast cancer in their lifetime.
According to Breastcancer.org:
- About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
- In 2016, an estimated 246,660 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 61,000 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
- About 2,600 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2016. A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 1,000.
Whole Body Thermography provides the earliest possible detection and is a true holistic approach to women’s health, particularly for the breasts. It is an adjunct diagnostic screening technique that has evolved over the last 40 years in Europe. Developed by Prof. Arno Rost, it is able to measure the capacity for regulation of the autonomic nervous system and thus identify areas of inappropriate functioning. Unlike other methods of thermography based upon infrared sensors, Whole Body Thermography measures the skin-surface temperature, inputting 119 data-points to a computer memory, which your practitioner then interprets.
Most tests performed by allopathic medicine look at a static, non-dynamic nature of the body. For instance, when you take a blood test, the cells are counted and evaluated at that second, with no regard to whether you have had any emotional or physical stress. In Whole Body Thermography, we are seeing how the body deals with stress. A sick person is not one who has a fever, sweats at night, or gets a rash. A sick person is one who does not react to stressful events or toxins, and this is what shows clearly in Whole Body Thermography. Fevers are mechanism by which the body kills invading pathogens. Whole Body Thermography looks directly at those bodily abilities and shows where interferences are disturbing your body’s natural defenses. The results of a thermography will show you where areas of concern exist and our practitioner who performs the test will go over the results with you. We also have people on staff who can further help you in ways address your areas of concern
Advances in thermography research have shown that breast cancer is not a local disease, but a sign of a bodies weaken ability to eliminate the cancer cells and mantain homeostatis. Twelve criteria have been identified for suspicion of breast cancer. By simultaneously looking at temperature data from the chest, ovaries, liver, pancreas, stomach, tonsils, teeth and jaws, Whole Body Thermography offers a truly integrative approach to breast health maintenance and treatment of breast pathology. By monitoring self-regulation capability, Whole Body Thermography can “foresee degenerative disease coming” up to 10 years in advance, whereas conventional medicine can detect breast cancer only after it has materialized. Compared to mammography, Whole Body Thermography has the advantages of being non-invasive, without radiation, and not painful, which makes it ideal for breast health screening.
While breast health assessment has been used to illustrate the advantages of Whole Body Thermography, it has also been approved by the FDA as a functional test for inflammatory conditions, peripheral circulation, cancer, thyroid, and neuromuscular disorders. It is equally useful in the adjunctive assessment of the prostate, colon, heart, respiratory and digestive tracts.
If you schedule a thermography screening you will be emailed a confirmation with a link to the following instructions so you can properly prepare for the test and understand what will happen the day of your appointment.
